Probably one of the worst apartments I've ever stayed at. Managers changed three times since I stayed there, which wasn't even a full year. I really liked Norma, but after there was a murder at our apartment she was replaced with Favi. She was nice, but very slow and clearly did not enjoy her job. Currently, there is some guy from upper management named Luis and he may seem cordial at first, but he's just empty words. We needed to break our lease early, because first there was a machete murder that killed someone at the apartments, the mailboxes were stolen, the apartment parking lot gate constantly breaks, and then there was flooding in the lower apartment units with the patio facing the parking lot. A slab leak occurred and we were in the cold for hours until management could even be reached. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and don't stay here. The amount of trouble you need to go to to have a semblance of normalcy is not worth the "cheaper" rent they may offer.     the manager apartment always smells like weed she palys loud music all the time she never never notifies when they gonna turn off the water no air conditioner the laundry door always broken couple of times my clothes got stolen told the manager she didn't care cars drive very fast inside the parking complex theirs no a play area for kids dog poop everywhere

      Love the new management finally rules are being followed and things fixed. People who have such negative reviews usually are the ones being corrected by management.

            Ridiculous for all of the money you have to pay, this is absolutely the TRUTH

            12162 Jentges Avenue is the correct address for CASA DE PORTOLA: Only certain people are allowed cats, dogs, and other pets, even though management has stated several times that pets aren't allowed, but she always ask you what apt. you live in first, before she tells you "No." (I thought Housing laws said you can't discriminate? At least that's what I learned at a workshop for property leasing consultants.) Her own dog constantly barks and people (especially tenants she socializes with) constantly complain about it. Also, there have been dogs who aren't even allowed in CA apts. (like a pitbull and other big dogs) seen around the premises with her standing there, allowing it because she hangs with and only holds conversations with certain tenants. Maintenance is slow and constantly has to come back and forth for the same thing requests, incapable of properly repairing stuff and will always have an excuse. Kids and teenagers are constantly running around the balcony, up and down the stairs, shouting; playing instruments outside; little kids have been seen sitting on a blanket in the cold--watching t.v. outside; singing on a Karaoke machine outside and are really noisy during the school breaks when they… See More>
