Quail Ridge Apartments

The rent and security deposit listed in our Rental Agreement were much more than what was advertised on-line for these apartments. We moved in toward the end of the month a couple days before the 1st of the month. We signed a month-to-month Rental Agreement that made no mention of a prorated amount to cover the last couple days of that month. Almost two weeks after we moved in, management notified us of a past-due prorated rent amount never mentioned in our Rental Agreement nor verbally mentioned by the person in charge of our move-in paperwork. Management insisted we had signed a form stating we would pay the additional prorated rent amount. When we went to the office, management could not produce any documentation but continued to insist we owed this additional amount of rent. Furthermore, our paperwork incorrectly stated that we paid a security deposit of a lesser amount than we paid. Management did not reissue a corrected receipt when we took proper documentation down to the office. The actual managers (an elderly couple) were not professional at all in how they treated us as tenants or handled tenant discrephancies. We experienced three different incidents with the management in just the first couple of weeks as tenants. There is a business manager who is professional and more pleasant to deal with.
