Where do I begin? 1) The apartment was filthy dirty upon move-in. After walking barefoot on the floor your feet were black. This was the day I moved in. Supposed to be clean, right? 2) The wood floor is trashed from previous tenants. 3) The cabinetry is plywood with glued on plastic melamine. They don't even use this stuff in Habitat for Humanity it's so sub-par. 4) They charged me a late fee a week after I moved in because of a system error. They refused to remove the fee regardless of how many times I explained the error occurred on their side. 5) The entire perimeter smells like dog piss. And we've heard rumors of dog ---- in the hallways. 6) We constantly smell weed. Hallways, at the pool and along 2nd Street. The entire complex is full of potheads living off of mommy and daddy sitting around playing video games all day. 7) The 1050 square foot loft is nowhere near that square footage. I measured and used all methods of calculation known to man. 750 actual square feet. What, did they forget to add a room? 8) Guest parking is non-existent. And I do mean that. It doesn't exist. 9) The elevators suck. 10) The garage is poorly lit. 11) The fitness center is a pile. If you're into exercising, you'll need a membership somewhere else. 12) Did I mention the leasing office employs morons? 13) Walls are paper thin. I sincerely believe they're made of cardboard. 14) Inconsiderate neighbors blast techno music all hours of the night. Weekends and weeknights. 15) They charge for water and trash. As if their prices aren't high enough. 16) Laundry units are crap. From the 1950s, what do you expect? 17) So overpriced it makes me sick. Had to sign sight unseen due to relocation.

Our maintenance and office staff are available 7 days a week to assist with any issue. We also have an Express Service Commitment, which states that requests will be filled within two business days. If this has not been your experience, please let us know so that we can address the problem. You can read more about the Express Service Commitment here: http://www.equityapartments.com/content/resident-commitments.aspx Also, we do offer an online resident portal to pay move-in fees and rent each month. If a resident experiences an issue with the system, and brings it to our attention, we are happy to help correct the issue. Our fitness center is serviced monthly and cleaned daily. The fitness equipment its up-to-date and we also provide free wights, medicine and balancing balls. If you have a noise issue with your neighbor, let us know, and we will contact them to resolve the issue. If it is after hours, please contact our courtesy patrol. We do have standard lighting in our garage, but always appreciate suggestions of how we can make the property better. We will look into installing brighter lights. Unfortunately, our property does not offer guest parking, but there is street parking available. Each apartment comes with a reserved parking space, which is a huge convenience, as we are so close to the beach.
