Do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR of Cosmo Lofts (and all other Creative Environments properties!) This company will bleed you dry. In addition to over-inflated rent - each tenant pays a monthly CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charge based on the square footage of your unit. We had a 600 sq ft space and our CAM charges were over $625 per month. Wait! It gets even better. These CAM charges are only "estimated" - so expect to cough up an extra $3000 after ten months, when they reconcile the "actual" expense for the year. Confusing? You bet. But it's all included in the 30 page lease. More fun facts: a single parking spot in the small crowded lot will set you back another $125 per month. And street parking is virtually non-existent. Thi place is a revolving door - with an extremely high turn-over of unsuspecting tenants who foolishly signed the lease without the help of an attorney.
