We lived at Harbour Lights for 3 years. Initially thought it was great, beautiful grounds, clubhouse, pool.Apartments themselves are very large with a lot of storage.Great surrounding area, close to the beach and grocery. That being said here is the bad: rent increases are terrible for long term tenants. Huge. Several hundred dollars each year. Apartments that aren't getting the "upgrades" are very old and outdated with 20 years of cheap paint that gets dirty very quickly.Horrible kitchen cabinets that are also 20 years old. Repainted counters that stain immediately. Plumbing backs up constantly. Pipes in garages leak on cars.Underground parking floods every heavy rain. Walls are very thin, you hear noise from the common hallway day and night and from your surrounding neighbors. First floor apartments are very cold. Moisture is a problem, we had to throw away a ton of stuff that was mildewed from all the moisture in the air. Very light beige carpet that all the previous tenant's stains come back within 3-4 months. Very small laundry rooms with 4 washers for 50 apartments in the building. Electricity bills are outrageous. Don't even think of running your heat or air or your bill will double or triple. If you have more than one car parking is an issue. Small lots fill up fast as well as the street. For the price of these apartments I wouldn't recommend it.
