The Good:
-Walking distance to UCI Campus, post office, trader Joe's, Jack in the Box, In N Out, etc.
-Feels kinda homey inside the apartment
-Relatively safe
-Free, tasty snacks inside the leasing office
-Swimming pool
The Bad:
-HORRIBLE (guest) parking, only 8 guest spots that are usually used by residents.
-Extremely high rent. 2200 for a 999 sq ft townhouse, 2 bed and 2 bath
-Expensive laundry costs $1.35 to wash $1.10 to dry
-You or your parents need a pretty good income to make the deposit affordable. It's about 4K if you do't have a co-signer/guarantor
-No dogs allowed
-If you ask more than 1 office clerk a question, they each tell you something different.
Final Take:
Honestly, I would only recommend this place if you're a UCI student who doesn't have a car, since it has the closest distance to UCI campus. Otherwise, go somewhere else, 2200 for a 2 bedroom and 2 bath 999 sq ft place is not a good deal. The deposit is whack too, if you don't have a co-signer. Kitchen, walls, and floor are cheap quality. Here's what they do with this apartment complex: charge you a deposit, when you move out they keep some of it to repaint and clean the apartment to make it look extremely new and nice, but in reality, the place is just not that great. The walls easily get discolored and the kitchen counters are just painted wood, so it's kinda hard to maintain if you have messy roommate or if you don't clean after yourself. Also, the place being cramped makes things worse. 2 cars per household is BS, considering that BC is in college territory.
