Harvard Manor Apartments
Resident • 2011 - 2012 Recommended
When I was first moving to Irvine to go to UCI, I saw these reviews & they absolutely had me scared about Harvard Manor. However I took the risk as it was the best deal I could find living off campus & was the closest to my area of studies... Same side of campus as the social sciences buildings. Yes, I walk to UCI everyday. It's that close. Super nice for getting groceries or Starbucks too! I lived here since September of 2011 now & I love calling it home. My remodeled apartment had gorgeous granite countertops, dark wood (it's fake but looks & feels good) flooring in the kitchen and bathroom & tan carpet throughout. The walls came painted tan with white borders along the floor. The kitchen came with all brand new fridge, stove, dishwasher & microwave. The cabinetry is white with brush silver knobs. It's heated by a wall heater that keeps it toasty warm & cooled by an air conditioner. The leasing Manager Barbara is the best & so sweet. She'll talk your ear off if you let her but she's also very professional. She pointed me towards all the best restaurants & running spots etc. when I moved in. The other manager (after six months I still can't remember her name) comes off as quite rude, she's all business, but she's harmless & the only time I ever converse with her is when a package is left for me & Barbara isn't in the office to ask for it. PS Barbara got me into one of the apartments with a bay window & I love it! Ask her if any are available! Oh & the building is insanely quite... & no one is ever in the recreational room. & the laundry machines are a little dated & cost of course but they always work! & not like you really need any protection in Irvine but the enclosed parking garage is nice. & seeing how to get into the building, you have to be let in... I like that no one can walk up to your front door like some other apartment places.
