Resident 2001 - 2002

6/11/2002

When we first visited, they told us the security deposit was only 600. However, when we moved in they said it was the price of our rent. This meant an extra $1000. I couldn´t believe they did that.

After that, we moved in and everything seemed fine. The months following our move in, things got worse.

- They have cockroaches here! It wasn´t just our apartment as they told us because an exterminator comes every Monday. Also, there´s cockroaches by the laundry facilities. DISGUSTING! we had to get 2 exterminators before we didn´t see them anymore.

- The kids here are sooo loud! They´re outside yelling, cussing, and screaming with little or no adult supervision. I wonder if they go to school?

- The people in the office are typical IAC. They are the most untrustworthy and are not always willing to help.

- The area also has a lot of leaves. LEAVES EVERYWHERE. They get on your shoes and you can´t but track them in. We have to constantly sweep outside and brush leaves out of our apartment. It´s a pain.

- on top of that, you have to drive through so may stop signs to get to the apartments from main roads like Alton and Culver. The yale loop is very inefficient.

This is why my family and I are leaving and found a better place to live away from woodbridge and IAC.
