Good: Location, close to freeway
BAD: Pretty much everything else.
Noise: plenty of it, from construction all day and night, to college kids partying till 8am, to paper thin walls and ceilings. the only place to live I suppose would be the top floor since you won't hear people above you. There are constantly fire alarms piercing your ears.
Security: an utter joke. You can call them several times, but nothing happens. They have a sophisticated website, but it does nothing. You can e-mail/call but nothing happens. You have 1 security guard for an entire complex who would rather just sleep.
Management: I'm not the only one, but they brush you off. They put on a fake smile and let you just suffer. When you're a prospective renter, they provide you with good treatment (even then it's questionable). When you're a tenant, your needs are far down the list.
Cost: The cheaply designed complex is NOT worth the money. Try Villas of Renaissance (next door- not part of their company, but anywhere but here) or if you want some of the other complexs off Nobel. This place is way too pricey. They make it sound luxurious, but it's not. Take a look at the garage and how even the speed bumps are knocked off.
Tenants: This is like a college dorm. Noise and trash and disruption is a problem. If you don't have a family, love drugs and loud music, this is the perfect place.

For a better picture of what's going on, please see this site http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lajollacrossroadsaptsucks/
