We are very disheartened to hear that you have not had a positive experience in our community. It is our top priority to provide exceptional service to all who walk though our door, and we apologize for any frustration that may have been caused by this experience. We are currently working to fix some of the issues that you have mentioned in your review. In the past year, we have implemented a new parking policy that records the parking passes in our system and does not allow duplicates. It is our intention that this will cut down on the number of misunderstandings and solve assignment issues. It is our policy that dog owners must clean up after their own pets. However, our maintenance team works very hard to provide the highest quality of life for our residents at Alvista, and will clean the grounds whenever possible. Hello - We're so sorry you've had a negative perception of our community, and we'd like to do all we can to help turn things around. We invite you to contact our Community Manager, Sharissa. You can reach Sharissa at (619) 466-9966 or [email protected] Our community has courtesy patrol officers in the evening 7 nights a week. Unfortunately, crime can happen anywhere. We can advise residents to reduce the chances of their vehicles being targeted by removing all valuables and making sure that their car doors are all locked. We are happy to offer a pet-friendly community to our residents and their furry friends. Unfortunately, not everyone is as diligent as they should be about picking up after their pets, and we address this with them when it is brought to our attention. Please let us know if you witness anyone failing to clean up after their pet, so that we can take steps. Our maintenance team also does sweeps of the community for pet waste in the mornings and afternoons. Our new Community Manager, Sharissa, would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and go over your concerns. She's been working hard to make improvements, and want to do all that she can to make sure that all of our resident are comfortable. Please reach out to Sharissa at (619) 466-9966, or come by. In the mean time, we'd like to help shed some light on the issues brought up in your review. We do offer two 24 hour laundry rooms, and the other buildings should be locked at 10 PM. The machines are maintained via a company called Wash. If you notice any malfunctions, please contact us, or feel free to call Wash at the number posted on the machines. We are in the process of upgrading the hallway flooring from carpet to plank. We will also be painting the hallways and sprucing them up as we go. Policies regarding pets were not strongly enforced in the past. Sharissa is working to make changes. Sharissa has been personally making sure that the grounds are cleaned and maintained, as well as working on reinforcing non-smoking policies. We're also working to get the pool gates in good working order. Sharissa has been working with our courtesy patrol company to make sure that they are clear on our expectations. The community has recently gone through a termite inspection, and we are actively treating areas that have issues. Please let us know if you have any areas that need to be looked at.
