The owners have just brought in a new management team. The quality of service is even worse now. I just discovered that the AC/Heater in my unit has been stuck on for some time now. I asked for maintenance to come by on Sunday. I was told they would be there on Sunday or Monday at the latest. It´s a fairly complex problem so I took Monday off to be there when maintenance came by. I called on Monday morning to make sure they were still coming and the assistant manager starts questioning why I took the day off and telling me that it is inappropriate to tell maintenance what to do! I never even suggested that I would be "telling the maintenance guy what to do." She then repeatedly questioned why I would take the day off. Finally she tells me that maintenance will not be able to work on the problem because it is raining! After questioning her on her poor attitude I decided to talk to the property manager. <br><br><br> <br><br><br>I told the property manger that I had three concerns: Getting the problem fixed, determining the next step, and find out why I was treated in such a confrontational and argumentative manner. She immediately replied "You were not treated in a confrontation manner, I heard the conversation, she was not confrontational at all. Now what is the problem with the AC?" I was astounded. She completely dismissed my concern without even hearing what I had to say. Every time I tried to steer the conversation back to the topic she would interrupt me and try to change the subject back! When I told her I felt she was being dismissive she said "If I was dismissive I would not talk to you or I would have you leave!" Wow!!! What rudeness!! How can you treat a resident like that? She continued to be argumentative and made it clear that her priorities were getting me out of the office and getting the AC fixed, NOT deal with this now serious customer service issue. She also told me that maintenance could not get to the problem today because of an emergency. "We have a slab leak. Do you know what a slab leak is?", she said. Unfortunately for her, while I was waiting to speak with her I watched the maintenance guy work on the leasing office break room/kitchen. He was not so busy with this "emergency" that he could not fix their problem. This also contradicts what the assistant told me about not being able to work on it because of the rain. It was clear she was just feeding me a line to get rid of me. <br><br><br> <br><br><br>I am extremely disappointed in the management here at Hidden Hills. They are rude, discourteous, and care little for customer service. My advice is to stay far away from this place. There are many other nicer apartment complexes in Laguna Niguel. <br><br><br>
