SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

Providing our residents with a home that is comfortable and enjoyable is certainly a priority for BRE Properties, Inc. and The Palms at Laguna Niguel. We deeply regret that this has not been your experience. Thank you for providing us with your comments regarding the grounds onsite. The cones and caution tape were actually used onsite in order to repair the areas that collected stagnant water. These areas have since been repaired. We will also distribute a notice to all of our residents reminding them of our parking, pet and vehicle policies. While apartment living means that there are occasional challenges with the close proximity of neighbors, the noise that is generated should always be a reasonable level. We always attempt to be proactive in handling issues of noise with the understanding that normal apartment noise can be expected. With this expectation, however, we request that residents be mindful of noise from the use of controllable sources, such as televisions or other activity. If any noise issues are experienced we urge our residents to please contact our Courtesy Patrol at (949) 214-7900 so that proper documentation can be made on the violation. Additionally, if you know the apartment numbers of those with multiple occupants and multiple pets, please provide the onsite associates with this so that we may follow up. The cost of each apartment is calculated based on many items. Each and every apartment homeâ??s cost is continuously evaluated and the prices vary depending on market conditions. Please understand that we always provide our residents with the best possible pricing given their specific apartment, market conditions and other related factors. Additionally, we apologize that you feel that our termination fee is unfair. BRE understands that circumstances may arise in which our residents will no longer be able to or do not wish to fulfill the terms of their lease. Therefore, the option and conditions of terminating a lease early is a courtesy to our residents that we chose to provide.
