We've lived in the Windridge apartments for almost a year, and thus far I have been very dissatisfied with the leasing office and their lack of service. The maintenance crew are very nice and helpful when they are available, but the people running the leasing office are useless. I've reported multiple problems with my garage opener. On numerous occasions, I will come home to my garage door wide open with my personal belongings out in the open for the public to see and take. The leasing office explained that my garage door opener must have been programed with another resident's garage opener, so that each time the other resident opens their garage, my garage opens as well. I can accept that this may have been a programming mistake after the first time it happened, but not after the fourth time it has happened. The leasing office also falsely advertised that they were in the process of hiring new landscapers when my roommate and I were looking for places to live. We believed that the dried out grass and trees were in the process of being replaced when they really were not. As of right now, I have seen nothing change with the landscaping. It is still brown, dried out, and full of dead leaves scattered all over the walkways. The community, overall, is very friendly and family oriented. I have noticed some disturbing and shady deals happen, and am very convinced that we have a neighbor who uses his apartment for drug dealings. Other than the occasional barking dogs next door, the neighborhood is rather peaceful and quiet, but I would not recommend living at the Windridge Apartments to anyone.
