From the application process to moving in, I've had a great experience thus far. I had been apartment hunting for over a month, looking for studios or one-bedrooms in Belmont Shores. The studios were all quaint but narrow. The current studio I reside in now at the Pali is the perfect size. It's 400 square feet, hardwood floors and has all new appliances. It's the perfect space. My studio is the first to have been renovated under the new management and they made great strides gutting it. Everything is new and the kitchen has a lot of space, much more space than other studios I've seen. From what I can tell, they're making a real effort to upgrade the facilities, one by one. Ultimately, the location, quiet and new appliances sold me. I love it! Management has been incredibly accommodating and attentive to any needs. Lily, the resident manager has been very sweet and communicative. If anything comes up (like a couch delivered a day too early), she has made her self available, or will make an attempt to try to. I found the couch, by the way, inside apartment when I came home from work. Thanks Lily! I would definitely recommend The Pali. They are currently renovating the roof as well as the apartments, one by one. If one is available, I'd say grab it. It's a NEW apartment.
Also, it does not hurt at all to be a block away from 2nd St. Restaurants and shops are all walking distance. The Pali on Ximeno is just the perfect distance so that you're close enough to walk but not close enough to be inundated by the noise or late night craziness. It's pretty ideal.
