I have lived here for over 2 years and I don't have really anything good to say about this place.

For the past 2 1/2 months, they have been re-doing the walkways and the noise from the construction is maddening. They still have at least 2 more months of this and the walkways still look horrible.

The pool is a joke. Not heated and dirty all the time.

The "fitness center" is also a big joke. It is an old sationary bike, a tiny home gym, and a broken treadmill. I would never go into the sauna even if my life depended on it because I am sure it has never been sanitized.

The elevator is broken on average 2 days per month for one reason or another and so is the "secure" garage door. Because of the garage door problem, lately, cars have been broken into inside the garage.

The laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers. They work most of the time.

As for this being a "security building", this is false. When we moved in, a person outside would have to ring your apartment and you would "buzz" them up through your phone. However, the door buzzer has been broken for over a year and everyone, their friends, the newspaper guy, the pizza guy...they all know the "secret code" to open the front door now.

The building being right next door to a bar on Broadway (the 36/36 Club) is an issue with the security and especially the noise from loud, drunk bar people every single night at 2 AM.

The rent is high for what you get. The carpet is stained beyond beilif and they will not replace it. New renters get new carpet and two-toned paint...but old renters get their rent raised for nothing done to up keep the inside of our old and shabby apartments.

At least there is a parking garage. But don't think of having friends over in the evening or they will have to park 2-3 blocks away.
