Building Owner: Monica Masuda Property Management: AJJ Properties, LLC Units: 55 Year Built: 1969 Remodeled: 2007 Types of Units: 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 2 Bed Deluxe, 3 Bed Electric: Southern California Edison Gas: None Trash: Olympic Disposal Cable: Charter Communications/Dish Network/DirecTV I have lived in this building for over 20 years, and I have never seen it this bad! Don't let the nice trees and water fountain fool you. This place really is a dump! The new property management team really are trying their best, but honestly, they may as well blow on an oil rig fire. The people here just don't care. Most of the current set of tenants that occupy the building are really just a bunch of drug dealers or users. To make matters worse, the old property manager ended up stealing people's rent money, and telling the property owner that the unit was vacant; and then taking off. You get people wandering about at all hours of the night, and at least half of the "security" gates don't close. The parking situation is quite possibly the best part of this entire place; and it blows! Covered carports that leak water all over your freshly waxed car... Nice. People from the adjacent apartment complex are CONSTANTLY jumping over the back gate, and either screwing with your car, breaking something, or coming into the complex for God knows what. The property was remodeled about 3 years ago, in a failed attempt to convert an old, outdated apartment complex into condominiums. Because of the plaster that they put on the walls during the conversion, the average temperature inside any unit during the daytime is OVER 100 DEGREES! However, the worst part about this place is the noise. Don't even TRY to work a night shift. It's impossible to sleep with all of the kids running around and screaming at the top of their lungs like little banshees. My advice to you is this: If you're thinking about renting here, DON'T! You can go elsewhere and get a lot better for the $1800 you'll inevitably shell out for a 3 bedroom.
