I don't write reviews often, but felt I owe it to people to write an honest review of GLO. I moved out recently and it has been a liberating experience. This place is honestly the worst managed apartment complex I have ever lived at. I have been living in apartments since 2001 and this place by far takes the trophy for worst managed apartment complex. I have lived in other Equity Residential properties, so I know it's not the management company (Equity Residential) that has problems. It really is the management personnel of this complex. They never return calls or e-mails. They might as well just have no Manager present at the complex. If you actually go to the Manager's office, the Manager is rarely there (there's a better change you will see a comet in the sky, than see the Manager in the office), but by miracle chance the Manager is in the office, the Manager gives you a stare like "what do you you want" type of look. The Manager is always either on a personal phone call or cruising the internet. It's pretty ridiculous.
The complex itself is relatively new and quiet. It's at a good location too, close to major freeways. It's really too bad they have really bad management because if Equity Residential addressed that issue, this place would be a great place to live.
