Resident 2009

10/13/2009

Totally decent place

I've lived here for about six months and have very few complaints about this complex. I wish it had a washer/dryer in the unit, but like another reviewer said, few places in this area have them, and they cost more. The owners just installed brand new machines in the laundry room with card readers, so that's a nice improvement. They've done a pretty nice job renovating this complex. It has a cool, modern vibe, especially in the lobby and outdoor areas. They definitely cut some corners in certain areas, and no one will mistake this for a new building, but it's not bad. The apartments have new appliances and countertops. The bathrooms are kind of basic and have cheap fixtures, but they look modern. There is a huge amount of closet space, even in my studio. One drawback to the studios is they do not have central air, just a wall unit, but it does the job. The staff is generally friendly and the residents are nice enough. Pulling in and out of the garage onto Hollywood Blvd. can be a challenge; people really fly down the street. While there's no "WOW" factor here for me, it really is a decent place to live.
