My experience living at Mozaic Apartments
I moved into Mozaic apartments in September 2009 and have had nothig but positive experiences here. In spite of many of the previous reviews being negative, they are outdated and reviewing the old management company. The new management company is caring and kind and the interest they have in making their residents happy and comfortable shows every day. The property has an amazing office staff, maintenence staff and security staff. When I've needed something fixed, or corrected, it's more often than not taken care of the same day. The apartments are modern, well designed and extremely comfortable. All kitchens and bathroom counters are granite with real tile flooring. The kitchens have modern appliances, large refrigerators and plenty of shelving. Dishwashers are included and all kitchens have double sinks. All apartments come with full size stackable washer and dryers, which blend in with the style of the apartment. My apartment is 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and walk in closet. The balconies are more like terraces, again with tile flooring. My apartment as well as many others have a magnificant view of the downtown skyline. Being almost adjacent to Union Station, you have access to all the commuter trains, buses and subways. Additionally, being here gives you easy freeway access as the downtown interchange is right here. China town is 6 blocks in one direction and Little Tokyo is 6 blocks in the other direction. Famous Olvera Street is right across the street and the activities and energy are amazing. There are huge bandstands up and down Alameda Street with free concerts almost every weekend. They have a dog run where you can walk your dog without hassle. they even provide doggy scoop bags for you. I've always lived on the west side and never thought I would live downtown, but after living here and becoming a part of the energy, I'd never live on the west side again. The residents are a mixture of students from USC, professionals, like myself who is a nurse and a comfortable mixture of a younger, middle aged and older crowd. If you're even playing with the idea of living downtown, I would strogly suggest checking Mozaic at Union Station out. I plan on being here a long time.Share This Review
