When I first moved to Marina Pointe I was excited for the great service and amazing location. I was let down on one hand because of the maintenance delays and the lack of neighborly enthusiasm that I was promised. Recently I have seen a rise in maintenance personnel and much happier neighbors. I was extremely disappointed in the attitude of the residence toward each other and the staff of Marina Pointe, but in the last month I have received more smiles and very prompt service for my problems. It seems to me that when you give a smile you get two back and thats what everyone in this apartment building needs. I have had my share of problems here but when I realize that Im one of 800 people I dont waiting 24 hours to have my tub fixed. Hector came back twice to make sure my problem was fixed and I feel that since I was more than willing to do my part and be in my apartment when I said I was he went far out of his way to insure my problem was solved. The office is understaffed but when I walk in with a smile they greet me with a smile even when they are being berated by other residence. My over all opinion is that yes this apartment building has problems but I have encountered more rude residence than employees. We all live in a community and need to realize that no problem is more important than the other unless it is life threatening. If you want to have a servant at your beck and call hire one, and take your millions to your home that you own... Im a renter.
