I lived at this apartment complex for nearly three years. During the time the ownership changed and that was the time when the management problems began. Under new ownership the apartments got new paint, new fixtures, molding, new carpet and new tile. That upgrade resulted in nearly 50% rent increase making the apartment overpriced. During my stay the management changed more than 5 times. In spite of higher than average rent in this area ($ 200 more than the nearby apartments), I never got a response to my maintenance request on a minor but annoying issue in my apartment (I waited for 9 months before I moved to another apartment complex). The owners and management are not interested in retaining good residents--thus there is a high turnover because at the end of the contract the prices on the apartments go up. For me, the management would not negotiate on the rent increase ($200) and was unwilling to offer the same deal that they were offering to their new residents who were moving in! Overall, the apartments look pretty on the inside. The outside of the apartments is unattractive. It is hard to get the laundry done since there is only one washing machine and dryer for the entire complex. The walls are rather thin so you can hear your neighbours well. It is frequently noisy particularly on the weekends.
