I've lived here for a little over a year, I really like my apartment and that I get a garage...BUT the maintenance staff is severely understaffed and the leasing agents and management do not care about the needs of their tenants and are not customer service oriented. I have had some success with maintenance calls and some very bad experiences. It really does take them forever to fix things around the complex, for example those nice gates to the community-they're almost always broken and are left that way for months on end. I once requested to have an item repaired in my apartment and the maintenance staff wrote up a completed work order and left it in my apartment with out even doing the work! After complaining to the management about this it was promptly resolved--to my surprise. Dealing with management is somewhat like roulette, you never know what kind of an attitude your gonna get...when I first moved in, my neighbors were very loud and disruptive, I tried complaining to the staff and my complaints fell on deaf ears...nothing was ever done and management wouldn't even take my calls unless I wrote/typed up my complaint on paper first. I tried calling the security, but that was a joke as well...they often never showed up or simply "noted" my complaint without taking any action...Needless to say, I eventually gave up.
I really like my apartment and that it is close to my job...about a 5 min drive. Unfortunately those are the only things I like about living here...it's pretty quiet on my side of the complex and that is nice, but the rent has gone up every year...once the prices pass competitor's prices it will no longer be worth it for me to stay here...I will miss the short commute but prefer to be in a better maintained community with a more attentive staff.
