I can't wait to move out. I should never have signed a year-long lease here. The train tracks are only 50 feet from the apartment complex and trains go by several times each day. At least two go by starting as early as 8:30 constantly sounding their obnoxiously loud horns. Staff is okay.. but too much involved in my everyday life. Letters are distributed all too often and I feel more like a roommate than an individual renting my own apartment. The letters are often bad news, such as we wont have water for most of a particular day, so plan not to shower, wash your hands, cook, clean or use the restroom on these days. The mail is located at the farthest end of one of the two parking lots which is a little inconvenient and not very efficient for residents. There's only one laundry facility with only 5 washing machines and 6 dryers which are constantly bombarded with inappropriate letters from management. Ugh. Over priced and surely not recommended. Get me out of here.
Good thing we live close to the Fire Department because smoke alarms go off daily due to the ventilation in the building. I almost never use the elevator, unless doing laundry since the facility is at the exit of the elevator on the 3rd floor. Each time I do my laundry, however, I am forced to wait at least 2 minutes since everyone uses it all the time despite it's inconvenient location. Wasps are many. You can hear doors slam every time someone enters their apartment and everything vibrates. No dining room. No microwave? What? Is a microwave not standard? Small kitchen. No security.
There are a couple pros........
Decent sized bathroom
Not renters insurance
Trash, water, sewage paid
Yeah.. that's about it.
