Resident 2005 - 2008

11/19/2008

Staff is very nice and helpful. Grounds are well kept. Mail room is well lit and easily accessed. Buildings near the front of the complex are quieter, have less disruptive residents/children than those near the rear of the complex. Most of the maintenance guys barely speak English and are slow to respond over weekends / late at night. The entrance gates on Chagall Court often don't work so they have to stay open, defeating the purpose of having them at all. The gate facing Bay Street is permanently chained shut. There are no community activities or social events. Fixtures, carpeting, and tile are all quite basic - nothing fancy but all are serviceable and work well. This is definitely not a high end complex, but it is much nicer than many I've looked at or lived in. Right next door is a car wash, a micro brewery, a billiards hall, a chinese restaurant, mexican bar & grill, fast food drive thru. Just a few blocks away from grocery, post office, community center & city hall. Bus route right in front. Over all it's been a pretty good place to live and I've been here for several years.
