Central Park At Whisman Station
Resident · 2009
I have lived here for a few months. Central Park is a nice, safe and well managed place. This complex has been built more than 40 years ago, but has been renovated thoroughly, however the infrastructure is not great. I am in the lower weight range and the building still squeaks when I walk. This is generally not an issue though. My main problem is train and highway 85 noise. My apartment is located on the north side of the Minaret street. I cannot leave my bedroom window open at nights. Windows are double paned, but I can still hear the train whistle easily in my bedroom. If you plan to move here, get an apartment that is far away from the railroad. Another negative point is that the living room does not have a thermometer to adjust room temperature. You need to turn on/off the heater/cooler manually which is kind of annoying, especially in winters.
