Le Parc Dauphine Apartments

I have always lived in small towns so when I moved here, it was a bit of a culture shock. Being a little weary of my surroundings, I found Le Parc Dauphine and felt truly safe. The three best parts of this place is (1). the safety...it is well lit and quiet. There is a gate in the front. And although anyone can enter, it gives a sense of protection. (2) Parking...there is ample parking. As tenants, you get reserved spots in a parking garage, but guests can park on the side of the street without any problem and without walking more than 20 steps. Most of the places I looked at had 1 reserved parking and another lot for parking near a block away. I come home late often so close parking was important to me. (3). The people in this complex are very considerate and friendly. I haven´t heard loud music or anything bothersome. People say "hi" to you in passing. It is a very nice community. Other things that are nice is the mailboxes are very close, laundry facilites are also close, though they are at the bottom of a dark stairwell. The complex buildings are very beutiful with black roofs and white brick. It is very New England looking. There are no exercise facilities which is a shame. And no swimming pool. The insulation is very poor and we are always cranking up the heat, But when the heat comes on, it gets very hot. There is rarely a happy medium. We wear sweats. Our lease is for 6 months and I plan to stay longer. Despite the small shortcomings, the benefits of living here exceeds all.
