I have been a resident here since early may, and at first i thought it was average for an apartment. With so many people living together you are bound to have issues. However, i have witnessed an undeniable decline in services, maintenance, safety, and overall quality here. The staff is overwhelmed. The buildings are going through the inevitable problems of an establish community, and apparently, the management company will not provide them with the necessary staff or resources to deal it. The Trash issue is terrible. there are only 2 compactors, and they are frequently overflowing. I dont know how the "lucky" people who dont have to DRIVE their trash out because they are close to them can handle the smell. Rodent and other (skunk)infestestaion is unavoidable. The apartments are located near a wetlands preserve, so it is naturally prone to wild animals. Not to mention hordes of mosquitos. These however, are not really within the controls of managment. But pool maintenance, security, and upkeep are. There is an ever increasing amount of police presence here. Enough that i am afraid to let my children out to play. There are frequent break ins to the pools after hours (10pm). So much that half the time, most of the pool entrances are padlocked. At the main pool, usually only one gate is open, and the bathrooms are locked from the pool area, and you must go around to the main clubhouse entrance. There are many other issues, related to me by other residents....too many to mention. This is a nice complex, and with a little more effort from the parent management company, i believe it could be a lovely place. However, as it stands now, i would NEVER reccomend it, for the price we have to pay. Funny how we must pay precisely on time, but they are allowed an indeterminate amount of time to fix any problems or issues. I thought we BOTH signed a contract.
