Coronado at Newport North and South Apartments

I've read through several of these comments and felt the need to respond. I have lived here for three months and have not minded it. They turned the water off twice with warning and during hours when most people are asleep (the one time) or at work (the second time). The dogs are a pain and sometimes owners don't clean up as well or gather out there and yell at dogs. The pools are cleaned weekly and not so bad. Parking spots are tight but you always have one in a gated area. The gates don't always work but it's not like we live in a bad area. We're also close to the beach, banks, malls, grocery store, etc. Great, great location. One nieghbor is loud, we called security, he hasn't woken me up again. One washer has been out since we moved in, but otherwise is fine. In short, Coronado at Newport North isn't perfect but as a professional woman in my twenties, I am happy to be here. I wouldn't want to live here when I get older, but I think I get what I pay for. You get what you pay for--for the most part I feel safe, at home, in a clean apartment with decent maintenance. I'll enjoy the luxury apartment later in life. Lastly, I paid $200 more per month, lived in dirty Manhattan, didn't have my own bathroom, had a fifth floor walk-up. Trust me, Coronado is a better deal and I'm thankful to have found a place here.
