Willow Court Apartments
Resident • 1997 - 1998 Recommended
I lived here for a little more than a year with a friend from California State U Northridge (CSUN) which is about a mile and a half away. At the time I lived there (1997-1998), they had new rugs, new kitchen flooring, new cabinets, etc. We had a pretty good manager, but the two managers after her were not very good. The biggest problem here was the noise level (upstairs and from the apartments on either side of us). The managers were unsuccessful in getting the noise level reduced. The pool is okay, but VERY cold and smallish. There is also a problem with a lot of guys who live in the apartment complex and their friends-they hang out during the day on Etiwanda and sometimes they will bother you when you are walking to your car. Several industrial businesses are nearby, and a poorly kempt apartment is across the street, but the other side of Etiwanda is lined with houses. Overall, this was a decent apartment for the price in Northridge. <br>Moving in and out is a pain, especially if you are on a limited time frame and cannot find parking on Etiwanda during that time frame close to the apartment. You´ll need to time it right--in the middle of the day, after 10:30 but before 2:00. One assigned parking spot per apartment--a deposit of $40 required for gate-opener.
