The apartment building is nice. Good location. Good security. Pretty quiet. But even though it's not in the rental agreement, they expect to enter your apartment quarterly (yes, every 3 months) to "check for leaks and check smoke detectors". And they'll only do it during working hours. They will not do it on Saturdays or evenings. Also, thier repairman doesn't work on Saturdays or evenings. I think that's unreasonable. I value my privacy, and frankly I don't like the idea of people that I don't know entering my apartment and being around my valuables when I'm not there to watch. I don't know who they have working for them. I would have no problem with this policy if they would come in when I am at home. I am a good clean tenant that pays my rent on time every month, and they are going to lose me as a tenant when this lease is up because this policy annoys me. If they can't provide the basic customer service and respect of having their people enter my premises when I'm at home, then they'll lose my business. Period. It's a renters market out there, they need to realize that and show a little more respect for their tenants.
