Current resident, and I can tell you these apartments are extremely overpriced and horribly maintained. They have you believe you're moving into a brand new renovated apartment and that is not the case. The finishes are cheap the floors aren't level the cabinets break daily, the showers leak the plumbing is old and smells the "maintenance" staff aren't qualified to fix anything and have to call professionals to come do it. Amy the manager is unprofessional and never in the office and when she is she has friends that aren't residents here hang out in the office with her. Trust me you do not want to live here

    A real nice complex that is continually in the process of improving itself. The manager, Robyn is fantastic and always helpful. Lived there for a year and had no real complaints. They are currently in the process of gutting each apartment and completely redoing them, so there is some construction noise but they always tried to be considerate about it. Maintenance was always super responsive as well.

      If your looking for a place to live calmly and peacefully this is not the place. We have lived here for almost 4 years now and for the last 2 years this place has really gone down in morality. New tenants are getting a new washer and dryer, wood floors and granite countertops, but us old tenants that have been here for years are not. So dont expect loyalty or seniority here we cant even get a working dishwasher! Keep in mind rent started at 1,500 and now we pay 2,200. 1.A bunch of college kids have moved into this complex therefore theres lots of noise, gates slamming and music blasting. Sometimes they even hang out in front of our apartment at 3am in the morning and have drunk conversations with each other. Across the street there are some low income apartments so it can get loud and busy. Windows and walls are thin so you can hear everything. Makes it inconvinient because some of us have to get up early and go to work! 2.         Dear Soontomove, Thank you so much for your review. I am very sorry to hear you are not feeling valued as a loyal resident, that is certainly not our intention. At AMC, we strive to make coming home the best part of the day. I am disappointed to hear we have missed the mark with you. We do have professional on-site management who can help you with all of these issues; noise complaints, parking trouble, and laundry. Please feel free to contact us in the office to rectify these problems. Coming off of an intense heat wave, I'm sure your air conditioner was working overtime. If you feel it was not blowing cool air, though, simply contact us for a service request and we can fix it. It is my understanding your dishwasher has been replaced after an extensive troubleshooting. If this is still a problem, please contact the office and let us know. While we will accept packages as a courtesy to our residents, we do rely on the package delivery services to notify the residents with a tag on the door, or in the mailbox. I do apologize if you were not notified by the package carrier that you had a package in the office. We are in the office seven days a week for your convenience.         I've lived here for a few months, and so far I have no real complaints. The management personnel are very friendly, the grounds are beautiful, and apartment is very nice. We got one of the first renovated apartments with hardwood laminate flooring, granite countertops, and washer/dryer in unit. All the apartments are being renovated this way as people move out. All the windows are double-paned and coated to help with cooling/heating costs as well as noise. Our neighbors have been very nice as well, and don't make much noise. The single-story buildings are great to avoid noise from walking as well. The community is only 74 units, so it's not completely impersonal. The apartment is all electric (because it was built in the 60's, I believe), so just be aware that your electric bill might be a little higher if you're used to having gas for your stove/oven, dryer, heat, water heater, etc. The AC is a wall unit in the living room that doesn't really do much for the bedroom, but it's not unbearably hot most of the year anyway.           LIKE LIVING UNDER THE GESTAPO

          AMERICAN TENANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE FRIENDS OVER FOR BAR-B-QUES OR PLAY MUSIC ON THEIR PATIOS. HOWEVER, --------- CAN MAKE ALL THE NOISE THEY WANT, INCLUDING LETTING THEIR KIDS MONOPOLIZE THE POOL AND SCREAM ALL DAY. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS SNEAKING AROUND AND SPYING ON THE TENANTS TO SEE IF THEY ARE MAKING ANY NOISE. MAINTENANCE TAKES FOREVER AND THEN IT IS MOSTLY DONE BY UNSKILLED LABOR AND HAS TO BE REDONE. RENT WAS RAISED BY $300.00 WITHIN A YEARS TIME AND THE TENANTS WHO STAYED AND PAID IT GOT 30 DAY NOTICES TO MOVE SO THEY COULD REMODEL AND RAISE THE RENT TO $1200.00 A MONTH TO LIVE IN A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD.
