First the noise: it is a very loud apartment, you can hear your upstairs and downstairs neighbors, their tv, their walking, everything. It’s super close to the freeway and other amenities which is nice but you pay for it by all the noise from the Collection and the cars driving/honking by. Lastly, the problem with the fire alarm, it will go off in the middle of the night at least once a month if not more. Are you willingly to go through that? I don’t think so. Safety: even though it’s gated the gates are not working or open half the time so anyone can come in and out as they please. I’ve gotten a package stolen right from my doorstep, this happens on the regular to anyone who lives here. Grounds: if you have a dog, watch out because there is dog feces everywhere. So many people walk by this complex so even though the people living in the apartments clean up after themselves, others don’t. The cleaning crew only cleans once maybe twice a month so it gets pretty disgusting. Neighborhood: only thing great about living here, walking distance to the Collection Maintenance: pretty good with getting things done. Only problem is they aren’t the greatest with keeping with their schedule. No matter what though, things get done when you call and ask. Lastly, the staff: the only kind one is Joel. He really listens and tries to care for your needs. He is completely understanding and will try to help out with whatever problem you have. He is the reason why I gave 2 stars. The property manager however will NOT sympathize and will treat you like another number. She is cold and someone you don’t want on your side because she will always go against you if it doesn’t benefit the property. If you’re asking for help but it doesn’t benefit her, you will be on her bad side. I miss the days when the previous property manager was there, Charo. She was so sweet, a little all over the place, but at least she always tried to help the client, not just the company Avenue5.
