I'm only here because of the ocean.<br><br>Walls are paper thin; I can hear my upstairs neighbors walking and their TV. I know when they have company over.<br><br>I still get rodents in my walls from time to time. The complex has done little to correct this. When I complained last time, the apartment manager said, "there's nothing more they could do..."<br><br>New Groundskeepers do a poor job. Don't pick up cut grass. Leave mud pods everywhere. Loud leaf blowers. Did you know you can actually buy QUIET leaf blowers; we have the technology! <br><br>I'm not sure why they have voicemail. They NEVER return calls left on voicemail.<br><br>Aside from -----, who I think is very sweet and friendly, the office staff seem 'complacent.' I don't know if perhaps they are not appreciated, or don't have the support they need from the owners, but often they are late at opening the office. I waited almost 30 minutes one Saturday while until one of the office staff arrived, with a cart full of Starbucks coffee. Make your coffee run earlier next time!<br><br>Maintenance staff: While many of them are nice people, the work is shoddy. A family member of mine is a contractor; after seeing the maintenance staff's work, this family was shocked at what a poor job they did. No attention to detail. They often leave a mess too that has to be cleaned up.<br><br>Seems that the staff required to keep this complex up are just not treated well or they are not given the leadership they need. I don't understand why they wouldn't treat their customers better. Recently they had a tenant appreciation party; I would rather they invested that money into better facilities. Also, they could use their own motivational booster -- this place could actually be coveted, if they would only take the care and attention to detail to make this diamond in the rough much brighter.<br><br>I am here to celebrate the ocean.
