I live in Casa Real and can't wait to get out of my lease. The hardwood floors are pretty, but you can hear every step above you. The management staff are lazy and unreliable. I waited three days (and made multiple phone calls) before they fixed a major appliance that had broken down in my unit. The pool in the back has been drained and fenced off all summer long while they "waited for a permit." The elevator is rickety and breaks down at least once a month. The pipes are so old that whenever anyone in the building flushes a toilet, the shower literally turns scalding hot (one older woman I know suffered second degree burns) - yet they STILL won't pay for surge protectors for tenants. One to two hallway lights on my floor are often burned out. Nonetheless, the rents are very high for the area. Don't rent here - you can find better apartments and more responsive landlords elsewhere.
