Resident 2013 - 2014

5/9/2014

Unlike the previous review, our experience was much different. The complex is older, but somewhat updated. There is granite in the kitchen and new, albeit very inexpensive, carpet. The proximity to the water and the relatively inexpensive rent are the only two positive attributes. During our year there we lived below an extremely loud tenant. So loud in fact, that we knew more about her personal life than a neighbor should and very often we were unable to enjoy out hammock in our back yard because of her noise. A backyard that we paid extra to have mind you. The apartment does not come with a refrigerator and the pool was so cold that we literally swam twice during our entire lease. Often there were homeless people going through the dumpster and trash was left on our new car in the assigned space. Then, after paying nearly $18,000 in rent, always on time, we were refused our $600 "deposit" as it was used as a "painting fee." The lease requires you to live in the apartment for a minimum of three years if you wish to be refunded in full. We are much happier in our new place and go out of our way to ensure everyone we come into contact with knows of our experience at Seaview Apartments.
