Resident • 2007 - 2012
As a long time resident I am fed up with Villa La Paz and I am so glad to be moving. The main issue is the management. They are more concerned with wasting money on "improvements" than dealing with the real issues. May I add the new green paint is horrible. Its bad enough it took the roofers months to finish the work and I am not sure if they are even done yet. Anyways the number one issue here is noise be it from the gardeners who show up at the butt crack of dawn to the tenants. There is always noise most of it preventable if management just did its job. I mean they are spending money on painting but cant be bothered to hire decent security, fix broken items in tenants apartments or pick up trash. There is always noise. From sun up to the wee hours and security is a joke. Management does nothing. Then there is the issue of management itself just not giving a cra* about the tenants. They do not return calls, address issues or even bother to give a proper 24 hours notice. Now they are obsessed with making the place look good (which the improvements are actually needless and really do not help) and are hiring contracts who do a half a** job. The roofers were throwing tiles off the roof onto the ground, the power washers for the painters left gunk stuck to my door. So were subjected to weeks sometimes even months of nonstop excessive noise for nothing. I work the graveyard shift so these so called improvements have made my life a living hell. I have not had a good nights sleep in months. Between the construction and the noisy tenants who speed through the parking lots, yell and/or play loud crappy music day or night and the kids running loose who break your stuff by throwing rocks and what not this place is hell. Parking is another issue. Some garages have families living in them and there is a chiropractor seeing his patients in his so no one uses the garages therefore you cannot find a parking space. The grounds are disgusting you will find beer cans and the like discarded throughout the property. Do yourself a favor rent somewhere else even if you have to pay more its well worth it.
