Resident 2006 - 2007

6/4/2008

I agree with former writers on some notes. The land lady was kinda lazy and sometimes hard to reach in person, the management company and she will ding you too much for things when you move out. While there was quite a bit of animal damage in my apt when I left, the way they handled it seemed ridiculous (recarpeting entire place for stair damage? a bit odd). It's noisy due to the nearby traffic and ambulances, and the facilities are poorly constructed, as are the fixtures. I agree with most of what people have said negatively about the place without feeling like ranting. I'm sure there are some pretentious people who've lived there but all the people saying bad things can't be making it up. Putting aside anything personal relating to the landpeople, just found it to be a bit crappy really. It looks cool enough but we all know living someplace is different than looking at it. My suggestion if you move there is to be really open with the land lady about anything you find wrong even if she's grouchy or nasty about it. We didn't talk to her much and as a result she exploded at us when we moved out for some of these reviews as though we'd written them without proof we had. We tried to reason with her but after some drama it was a pain in the youknowwhat. Lack of communication on both ends, and taking these reviews personally caused drama with the management. They did allow pets with just a deposit, which was nice.
