Resident 2011 - 2018

7/30/2018

I lived at this complex for 7 years. For 3 years I lived in a 1 bedroom and then moved to a 2 bedroom to have a washer and dryer. I really enjoyed living there. The office staff were always friendly whenever I needed to deal with them and were always very accommodating. When I first moved in 2011 there were no assigned parking spots which could be a pain at times. It was however, much better than when they decided to charge for parking. Where I lived, it was all carport parking so I had no choice but to fork over an additional 35 dollars per month. I honestly would have stayed if not for how much the monthly rent was continuing to climb. When I moved into the 2 bedroom, the rent only went up $50 a year. Not too bad. Then, my 3rd year in the 2 bedroom, the rent went up $110 per year. It was the same issue during the 4th year. It just got to be too expensive. Aside from the rent hike, they decided to start this VIP trash service, but it wasn't optional. That's an additional $25 per month. To sum up, I probably would have stayed had the rent not gone up. It was very convenient as I lived less than a mile from my job. Overall, would I recommend this place? Yes, but anticipate mystery fees.
