When I lived at this apartment complex, we had noisy neighbors, and my car was broken into, as were other neighbors' cars. There was an inexplicable alarm nearby that would sometimes go off in the middle of the night, too, and stay on for hours. Moving in was very difficult: I had to pull my couch into the second-floor apartment with a rope over the porch.
I remember there being one covered parking spot per bedroom in your apartment. The management didn't really do anything to take care of the place or handle bad tenants. Laundry kinda sucked too. I always had to save up quarters for the machines.
At the time, it really worked out well for me, though, because it was cheap and, other than the car break-in, none of the criminality going on affected me. There is a beautiful courtyard area in the middle, and a pool (which is always freezing cold, and in the shade). In the summer, I even slept on a couch out on the porch, until I saw rats actually running around in the trees out there.
