Dear Lauren, I know we've addressed these matters with you personally; but I would like to apologize again for any inconvenience regarding the December rent check which was inadvertently applied to a different apartment with the same unit number, and for any issues in completing your maintenance requests. It is always our goal to address service requests within 24 hours of submission, but we are sometimes delayed because of the need to call in an outside vendor or to wait for back-ordered parts. Sometimes, things are delayed simply because our maintenance team is not given permission to enter without the resident present. Regardless of the cause, we are sorry that we did not deliver the 5-star service you deserve. Dear Reviewer, I am sorry that you have been unhappy with some of the changes that have taken place over the past year. We do appreciate your feedback and strive to make each of our resident's stay at River Blu a happy one. As you pointed out, we have brought 2 separate communities together and by doing so; have been able to make needed improvements for our residents such as the new, centrally located office, resurfacing of the parking area. This summer we'll be painting the River Blu I buildings. Both of our mail facilities continue to have package receptacles with a secure key system for postal deliveries of larger packages for your convenience. We do have to enforce our Lease and house rules equally to each resident. We do appreciate your efforts to comply and are sorry for your inconvenience that evening. The policy was put in place to ensure convenient overnight parking for our residents, and was never intended to require or condone driving while intoxicated. Dear Voodooj, Thank you for reviewing and recommending River Blu. I appreciate your constructive comments and suggestions and will review them with our staff. I have already addressed the smoking issue with our maintenance team to ensure they comply with the non-smoking policy at River Blu I, and I have designated a new location for the morning meetings where daily tasks are assigned and discussed. You can be assured that we always have the safety and security of our residents in mind. Our office staff and maintenance team maintain a watchful eye as they perform their tasks about the property throughout the day. People going through the trash are told to leave immediately, and escorted off the property if necessary. Other unauthorized visitors are questioned and directed to leave when appropriate. We also encourage our residents to notify us if they note any suspicious activity, so appropriate action can be taken. In addition, our evening courtesy patrol can be contacted day or night, as can the Sacramento Sheriff's Department. (Non-emergency service is available.) Dear Anonymous, Thank you for sharing your concerns about River Blu and for giving us the opportunity to improve our service and community. We deeply regret that you are dissatisfied with your experience here and feel that we are inattentive to your concerns. We do care a great deal about our residents and make policy changes only after we have given a great deal of thought and consideration as to how they will affect our residents. We are implementing the permit parking policy solely in response to residents' concerns, to ensure that on-site parking is available around the clock for everyone who actually lives at River Blu. We apologize if our notices sometimes come across as lacking in personal tone. Because we are often required to meet various housing and legal requirements and to relay information in a certain way, they may come across as abrupt; yet it is never our intention to make anyone feel threatened or intimidated. Given the steep rise in utility costs over recent years, it has become the norm throughout the Sacramento area to have residents pay for their own utilities. To assist you in keeping your utilities cost down, our service department will be happy to check your heating and cooling system for efficient operation. They will also check weather stripping and windows while they are there. Just come by our office or you can call us to schedule a service appointment. Our priority is to keep River Blu Apartments a community that residents are proud to come home to. Dear Chicophi180, I am sorry for the negative experience you had here at River Blu. Unfortunately in todayâ??s world, crime has no address, it can and does happen everywhere. We proactively deter criminal activity with our Courtesy Patrol who drive and walk the properties nightly, installing camera systems and of course our on-site staff.
