Wow ... where do i start. I've been living here for more than 5 years. I had such a great experience at Avion up until this new management company took over. First they increased my rent over $500 a month and thats not the worst part! I'm writing this review because I rented the clubhouse today for my daughter's birthday party for $250 and spent over $2,000 in food, decorations, etc., and invited all my family and daughter's friends from LA and San Diego to come enjoy my kid's birthday party. I came in today and the clubhouse was 78 degrees before we started using the stove meaning it was going to be 85-90 degrees by the time everyone was here. When I expressed my concern to the manager Hector he said that they "knew about the A/C not working two weeks ago" and doesn't care if it gets too hot. I asked if he was serious because he must be joking... he wasn't. Hector's solution was "you could open the sliding doors to the pool" I said that they are doing construction outside to the pool area and there are 5 year old kids do you think that is safe? No response! When I continued to ask him why they would rent the clubhouse even when they knew the A/C was out without notifying us his response was that is your problem. I couldn't believe what i was hearing so I rephrased it asking him would you rent an apartment out to someone even if you knew something was wrong with it? His response: yes ... it depends on whats wrong if it was the A/C yes! Cancelled my daughter's bday party and she is crying more than $2,000 down the drain. I hear about this stuff happening to people and don't believe it but wow AVOID AT ALL COST
