Coral Bay Apartments

When my husband and I discovered Coral Bay on a quick trip to San Diego prior to moving, it seemed like a perfect match... except they said our dogs were too big. Well, we've been there over a year now and have seen dogs TWICE/THREE times the size of the dogs we left behind (which was not easy) and many Pit Bulls (restricted breed as I understand). But that is the most minor of my complaints. Reading complaints listed here, each and everyone struck a chord with me. #1 pet peeve - parking. The managment office "pretends" to manage parking. This means, they give carte blanche to night security to have whoever, wherever towed. My husband and I were towed at 12:05 a.m., 5 minutes after we parked after returning from a trip and unloading our truck. No sign, no red curb... and absolutely NO help from the office. Pet peeve #2 - laundry cards. I am so tired of going to do my laundry only to have my card read "bad card" and then the card replacement guy/management losing my cards with $$ on them and then having the nerve to tell me they can't do anything about it. The last time I turned in my card I wanted a xerox copy of my note with the managers signature ackowledging receipt. He refused and said he could not take responsibility for the card. There the complexes contractors!! And they won't take responsibility for them???!!! #3 pet peeve - hot tub is often above legal temperature of 104. Anytime I make a complaint, I receive a notice from the complex the next day that I'm in violation of some made up rule (in other words, when reading my lease I do not see anything in it that says my curtains must be white!!)<br>So, if you're looking for cheap living and are willing to put up with less than acceptable living conditions - then this is the place for you.
