The problems began when Greystar took over management of the building. The company has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. Check out their website. Because the complex is so close to University of San Diego and full of students, large number of units remain empty in summer. The new management has raised rates, doubled pet rent, charging fees for package pickup and parking. The new management only gives you five days to renew your lease or your rent goes up $1000 a month. You are billed separately for water and trash, it goes up the longer you lease here to improve management profits. The trash room are not kept clean and often filthy, especially on the weekends. The amount of cleaning staff, security, and office staff have been reduced. Greystar is only interested in profit. The washer/dryer units are the cheapest available and often break down. Don't believe the rent price you are quoted, because of all the extra fees collected. I don't plan to stay here after lease expires.
