Resident 2002

12/8/2002

If you´re looking for a convenient, comfortable apartment with all the amenities that you will need, Avalon Towers fits the bill.

While the rent is pricey for the size of the units, Avalon makes up for this by offering a well-planned, clean and secure environment.

Although, a month after I moved in my mountain bike was stolen from the garage, as well as other bikes. When I mentioned to the staff that a memo to all occupants would be appropriate, they issued one a few days later. There was nothing much they could do, but at least someone with an expensive bike may have decided to keep the bike inside their unit after reading the memo.

As I near the end of my lease, I am deciding whether or not to remain a tenant. The proximity to the financial district and the bay bridge is very convenient for my commute to work. While I agree that there is not a neighborhood atmosphere here, I do feel secure. Everything I would need is within walking distance and the newly remodeled Embarcadero lends to a scenic walk. There is a new Safeway grocery store going in near Pac Bell, as well as another Avalon property.

If you want to be secure and live in a comfortable unit with all the amenities, while being close to the heart of the city, this is the place for you.

If you don´t want to pay above average rent and need a neighborhood atmosphere, this isn´t the place for you.

They do charge for pets. Monthly and deposit is required for them.
