Resident 2018 - 2019

2/19/2019

I wish I could give fewer stars. This is the worst place I've ever lived. They have botched everything from day one. When I arrived with my belongings in a truck on the move-in date, the front office had miss-communicated with maintenance and my apartment was not ready. It had not been cleaned since the last tenant. The office made a show of offering to send a cleaner, so I delayed the move-in by a day. The cleaner was never sent because the people that work in this office are either liars, or they have the memory of goldfish. This is how the office operates. They will make a show of writing a note and telling you they will follow up, but will never actually do that. I have never had either of them follow up with me on anything, not even after I reached out to their management team. I had read the other reviews regarding cars being broken into but assumed I would be ok because I keep no valuables in my car. I was wrong. My window was broken into along with several neighbors and there was zero action on the part of the office. The manager didn't even follow up with me. They're in them middle of renovating the pool but they don't have enough money to pay security, put up cameras in the parking lot, or build a functional fence around the property. In the middle of the lease, they installed SmartRent locks on the door as well as a thermostat. These devices track data for advertising purposes according to the SmartRent website. They shared my information, including phone number and email address with this third party company without my consent or knowledge. The reviews of this product demonstrate that it is unreliable, leaving people locked out of their homes or their homes unlocked. Now they have closed off all community amenities (pool, fitness center, etc.) for a four month period. The email regarding this closure miraculously failed to show up in my inbox. This place is cancer, has no respect for tenants or existing lease contracts, and should be avoided at all costs. Also, understand that their advertised price for the unit does not include parking or water/sewarge (which they charge you for). Expect to pay an additional $50 per month per parking space that you need, as well as approximately $75 per month for water/sewer and pest control.
