I've been a tenant since 2013. When I first moved in the rent was at a great rate for a two bedroom two bath. The following year, my rent skyrocketed by $179. It was unfortunate that I didn't have time to move out before I received my lease renewal. But I promise, they won't get away with it for the next lease renewal, I'm out of here and believe they're tactic is BATE-N- SWITCH. The apartments are NOT all that nice, they're old and so are the appliances. For the money they "switched" to, it's not worth it. Yeah, it's next to Bart, Movie Theatre and the Mall, but so are the criminals. It's not gated which it should be. I caught a guy driving into the parking area in the back with his truck FULL of junk, he just drove up to the dumpster and started dumping. I wrote his license plate then proceeded to tell him "the tenants have to pay for that". If it were gated, you wouldn't have to go through that. Check your "Yes Management" bill. It constantly goes up. I have two people in my apartment, the next apartment has several. The water bill is divided among all the units. I don't see how my bill could be fair constantly increasing. It appears that I paying for other families to shower, use the dishwasher, etc. I can't wait to get out here at the turn of the new year. Kids smoking weed on the steps leading to my apartment, tenants downstairs smoke and leave cigarette butts on my steps along with whatever else their drinking. THINK ABOUT IT REALLY GOOD BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO THE THE HAMLET.
