John Sullivan the emerald properties manager and manager of sequoia grove called me today... I was at work so he left a voicemail. Later when I listened to it he threatened me by saying he was going to send my security deposit to a debt collector if I didn't take down the pictures my wife and I posted of the unsafe conditions at the complex and poorly maintained property. Wish I could capture unfriendly management in a picture but unfortunately they're camera shy and stop yelling at you when you pull out the camera. The manager (a husband and wife), the wife tonya got in my wife's face and screamed at her when we were going to tow a car in our spot which belonged to the construction crew covering up the buildings structural termite damage (he was no where to be found). So if you move here just don't move out unless you want to receive phone calls that could be perceived as borderline blackmail should you leave a bad review. Don't be fooled by the 5star review saying how quiet it is either. Not only is it on the busiest street in San leandro and around the corner from 2 fire stations that use the street night and day, but its next to two mariachi clubs that are open like 6 nights a week. Management and upper management is shady, plus the buy-out-agreement they have you sign upon leasing is completely unenforceable under California state law. My opinion is definitely avoid this place and be very cautious before moving into anything owned by emerald properties.
