WAY too much money for a tiny cramped apartment that has a view of the trees. I was assured when I was on the tour that my apartment "was bathed in sunlight all afternoon" Make sure you can see the actual unit you are going to live in. I am living in the gloomiest, darkest apartment imaginable. There is a row of trees in the back that obscures any sort of light until approximately 6:30 pm. Gee, thanks for the dose of vitamin D. The front gets no sun because of the carport that they will charge you twenty dollars a month to park under. A ridiculously high monthly charge for my dogs ($75) and the privilege of a tiny dog park, that is disgustingly filthy. Many of the people don't clean after their dogs and leave it for the rest of us to deal with. Quite a few snotty neighbors who seem upset with those that have dogs. May it be said approximately 70% of the tenants here have pets, so if you don't like or want to hear dogs, this is NOT the place for you. On top of the ridiculously high rent, there is a charge for trash, water, sewer, community hot water, then a $4.50 "service fee" (for what?) and then on my first bill a $20 "new account fee". Sorry, I can't help it if I'm a new tenant and you have to add me to the system. The management seems to be totally inattentive to concerns that have been raised. Why shouldn't they be? I signed a lease, so they don't have to worry about me anymore. Yes, the grounds are kept well, but is it truly necessary to have the leaf blowers under the windows at 8am on a Saturday? (I know, it's petty) I have been here less than two months, I guarantee I won't be renewing a lease here. Simply TOO much money for not enough apartment.
