The staff and management were extremely friendly and hospitable. The apartment was everything I needed.
My complains are more about the neighbrohood and the lack of parking. Each unit -- regardless of how many bedrooms it has -- has a single parking space. You can park on the street or at the park across the street, but break-ins are common. In the 6 months I lived at Greenpoint, my car was stolen once and broken into two additional times. In addition, my roommate's bike was stolen off our back porch.
It is a shame the neighborhood is so bad, because the apartment itself was excellent, as were the staff and management. In addition, there's a park and a small art museum right across the street, and shopping is convenient and close by.
Bottom line: if you do not need multiple parking spaces, this place is great. Just keep your doors locked and don't leave anything valuable in your car.
