Park Central Apartments

as with all silicon valley places, the rent is beyond what is within means of the average person. however, given that seemingly half the tenants at park central attend the immediately nearby santa clara university, the parents "worry" more about the housing costs than do the students. the other half seem to be your basic silicon valley employees, many of whom do not necessarily wish to communicate with other neighbors. in essence, the workers tend to be in race groups or keep to themselves, and the students have no qualms about running around the facility which has poor noise insulation (the bed creaking below me is grinding when i´m trying to sleep or work...ahem).

this is no bargain, especially given the fact that the maintenance staff is altogether incompetent and careless, and believe me, you will need maintenance for one reason or another more often than not. the office staff, all two of them(??), cannot seem handle the care of so many apartments and tenants- they´re nice enough, but you´ll almost never reach them by telephone, and it´s a hit and miss situation when attempting to find someone in person.

if you can afford the luxury of time to continue looking for a place to live, do so.
